Time:
10:00am
Location:
Hershey Public Library meeting room
Research shows that children get ready to read years before they start school. Learn how you, as a parent, can help your 2 to 5 year old learn the six important pre-reading skills necessary for becoming a reader. Children’s Librarian Rita Hunt Smith will present some of the current research on literacy and children. She will also teach you quick and simple activities you can do at home, on vacation, or in the car to give your children the best possible start on the road to reading and life-long learning.
