Warning to Parents and Caregivers:

Parents or guardians, not the Library or its staff, are ultimately responsible for their children's use of the Internet through the Library's connection. The Hershey Public Library does not monitor, and has no control over, any materials obtained on the Internet, and cannot be held responsible for its content. Despite the presence of filtering software, it is recommended that parents supervise their children's Internet sessions.

Behavior Policy

  • Please log on / log off with each new user
  • Appropriate, respectful behavior is expected at all times

These rules will be strictly enforced. If you do not follow the rules, your computer time will be ended for the day. Please note that federal law requires children 16 and under (until the 17th birthday) to have filtered Internet access. Library staff CANNOT override these filters.
