The Pennsylvania Online World of Electronic Resources (hence P.O.W.E.R. Library) is a collection of 39 databases with subjects ranging from auto repair instructions to children's material in Spanish. Provided by the Pennsylvania Public Libraries, School Libraries and the State Library, the POWER library enables patrons to access thousands of articles, newspapers, and photographs.

The POWER Library, an initiative of Governor Tom Ridge's administration with the support of the Pennsylvania General Assembly, is offered as a service of Pennsylvania's public libraries, school libraries and the State Library. The POWER Library allows you to access thousands of full text periodical articles, newspapers, a major encyclopedia, plus photographs, pictures, charts, maps, reference materials for young people and more. You'll find materials of interest in most subject areas for all age groups from young children to adults.
