Learn Tunisian Crochet - Wed. Feb 22 from 6-8 PM
Tunisian crochet is a technique that combines elements of crocheting and knitting. In this class you will learn the Tunisian Simple Stitch, also known as the Afghan Stitch or Basic Afghan Stitch. You will learn to start projects with a basic knitting cast on, or from a crochet starting chain. Learn some tips and tricks for getting soft fabric, working the edges, and binding off the project.
Fee: $25
This will cover the cost of the class and materials (instruction book, simple scarf pattern, one skein of yarn, and one Tunisian hook).
Class will be taught by Jane Rimmer, a retired math teacher who has been crocheting for more than 50 years!
