Professional actor James Getty will regale the audience with tales from the life of Abe Lincoln, including his formative years on the frontier, his family life, his rise in poliltics and his involvement in the Civil War and Battle of Gettysburg. The program is appropriate for all ages and questions from the audience will be answered at the end of the performance.
Jim Getty portrays Abe Lincoln in a one-man show during the tourist season in Gettysburg, PA, where he lives. The program has received the Pennsylvania Travel Excellence Award. A former teacher, Getty participates in national and state government festivities portraying Mr. Lincoln.
