Read, Think, DiscussThe Hershey Public Library hosts a variety of book discussion groups that are open to the public. We do, however, limit registration in an effort to promote lively discussion. All groups meet in the library from September through May. There are no summer meetings and some of the groups do not meet in December (as noted). Books for discussion must be borrowed or purchased by participants. We cannot use interlibrary loan to get books for book groups. Due to two of our Book Groups having no space available, we have started a Monthly Book Discussion Group. Various genres of books will be discussed and a list is available of those that will be discussed in the uncoming months. You must register for each month's discussion either online or by calling the circulation desk at 533-6555. The group will meet from 6:30 - 7:30 PM. Please see the Monthy Book Group link below for the list of books. To register for a group, please contact Julie Brnik. Click the links below for information on specific groups as well as for their respective reading lists for 2008-2009. |
