Summer Reading Program for Teens and Adults Begins June 1

Getting prizes for reading great books – what could be better? The Friends of Hershey Public Library hosts summer reading programs for both teens and adults. The programs begin on June 1 and run through August 31. All you need to do to participate is stop by the library’s circulation desk anytime between these dates and register. We’ll give you the Summer Reading Program packet and a free Hershey Library pen just for registering.

                To complete the program, participants need to read only four books. You choose the books you want to read and the library supplies the prizes. Audio books count too! Once you’ve read the books, you can turn in your program and receive a prize as well a ticket to enter our raffle drawing to win gift certificates for shopping sprees, courtesy of Friends of Hershey Public Library. The top prize for each raffle is a $100 shopping spree! If you’d like to earn extra raffle tickets, you can read more books or complete one or more of the optional activities available at the circulation desk.
