To help reduce library fines, the Hershey Public Library is pleased to offer automatic renewals for all eligible materials (items not on hold or already renewed). Now you don’t have to worry if you forget to log in or call a day or two after an item is due: we’ll handle it for you. It is your responsibility to check your account to ensure all your items have been renewed, either by logging in to your account with your library card and password, or call the Public Services desk at (717) 533-6555 and we will check your account for you.
WHEN MIGHT AN ITEM NOT RENEW?
- If the item has already been renewed.
- If it is an interlibrary loan item.
- If the item has been placed on Hold by another patron, it will not renew and you are responsible for returning it on time.
