FIRST LEGO League (FLL) challenges kids in grades 4-8 to think like scientists and engineers. During the season, which lasts from late August until February or March, teams will choose and solve a real-world problem in the Project. They will also build, test and program an autonomous robot using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® technology to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game. Throughout their experience, teams will operate under the FIRST signature set of Core Values, celebrating discovery, teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism®. The library is proud to host two FLL teams under the direction of parent coaches and teen mentors from the FIRST Robotics Team Krypton Cougars. For more information, contact parent coaches at firstname.lastname@example.org. (http://www.firstlegoleague.org/)
