The library depends on your donations of gently used books, DVDs, video games and puzzles as a substantial portion of our annual fundraising efforts.
The Friends of the Library accept donated items anytime the library is open. Donations can be placed in the donation area of the front lobby.
We are always interested in these items in good or like-new condition:
- Hardbound novels
- Non-fiction books with accurate, current information (cookbooks, gardening, nature, sports, etc.)
- Military nonfiction, Biographies, and autobiographies/memoirs
- Trade paperbacks
- Comics and graphic novels
- Books of local interest
- Children and Young Adult books
- Music CDs
- DVDs
- Video Games
WE CANNOT ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING:
- Book sets, such as encyclopedias
- Magazines
- Items in poor condition (water damage, covers or pages missing or defaced, text highlighted, wrinkled)
- Textbooks
- Books with outdated information
- Audio cassettes
- VHS tapes
